Postcard From the Field: Brian Whitlow, Bay Area Chapter Volunteer

They say experience is often the best teacher. Brian Whitlow has been an American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter Volunteer for two years. Through his employment with the San Francisco CARD (Community Agencies Responding to Disaster), Brian also works closely with the Red Cross delivering preparedness programs to area human services agencies. “In addition to being able to help the recent hurricane victims, I have gained valuable insight through this experience that will continue to benefit my local area with our preparedness efforts,” said Whitlow.
