American Red Cross Receives $1 Million Donation From ExxonMobil Coporation
BATON ROUGE, Louisiana – ExxonMobil Corporation donated a $1 million donation to the American Red Cross this afternoon at the East Baton Rouge Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. Local plant managers joined together to make this special presentation to Vic Howell, local CEO of the Louisiana Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross. The donation will help build the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to assist disaster victims.
“Baton Rouge and ExxonMobil have been partners in progress for nearly 100 years,” said George Pietrogallo of ExxonMobil. “Wherever ExxonMobil operates in Louisiana and throughout the world, we strive to make a positive contribution to our local communities. This is one example of that commitment.
